KMFDM mix titles

Hey, I'm changing the mix titles back to having no dashes. The songs on the Extra comps are "taken from" the singles (according to the Extra booklets), and therefore are the most up-to-date titles for those songs, which should be reflected in the appropriate articles. MrMoustacheMM, the titles and track lengths for the old KMFDM albums do matter. I understand what it says in the liner notes of the Extra album, but I own both Extra and original singles and the mixes are slightly different. I added one such example with the Brute single. The "Original Album-Mix" on the single is slightly longer than what you will find on the Extra album. Please be true to each album and not generalize information between album releases. Thanks. That's nice, I own both as well (in fact, I own every single release they've put out on vinyl and CD...so what?). As I said, the booklets of Extra clearly state the mixes were originally released on the specific singles, so these names would matter (and do apply). Really, the dashes are just something that made the titles look cool for those specific releases, and Extra shows the correct titles for these songs (again, they are the most up-to-date information we have). I think you got confused with another discussion on the HUSUTUA talk page, so I'll go ahead and start a discussion on Talk:Money (KMFDM song), and we can see what Torchiest and other editors think as well. Discogs for KMFDM articles

Hey there. First of all, thanks for all the work you're doing on the KMFDM articles. It's nice to have someone else adding material and new articles. I wanted to let you know that discogs.com isn't considered a reliable source for music articles, so you'll need to find other sources for any controversial information you add. Thanks Torchiest. The thing is, I own these albums and have been referring to them as well as their liner notes for the information I have added thus far. I am not sure how I can cite this information. I turned to discogs.com since users had posted pictures of these albums. Please let me know what I should do in this case. I understand completely. Discogs isn't considered reliable because it's user-edited, and doesn't have any oversight. In my experience, it's very accurate, but we have to abide by wikipedia policies. As for using the liner notes from albums, check out the article for Xtort. If you go to the additional personnel section, and open it for editing, you can see the album notes template I used. Just a tip - when editing articles like Sin Sex & Salvation, which have no references, it's a really good idea to find some. MLWTTKK capitalization

Not sure why you decided to get so upset about capitalizing two letters in the band's name, but this is just like the dashes in the KMFDM remix names. Is it really that important?
