Response to Image copyright problem with Image:Pierrotthestabyhoun.jpg (this is also a response to the above notice) edit

{{helpme}} I have no idea how to give copyright status. i would if i could. i made this picture. i created it. how do i give copyright status?

See page copyright tag for a description of the proper copyright release to put on the page. Even if you made the image you still hold all rights to it and you need to officially permit Wikipedia to use your image. See the example on the referenced page to see the tag I suggest you use. --NrDg 23:39, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
but i dont see where it says how to give the license.Igglybuff63 (talk) 23:42, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just adding the tag to the image page is sufficient. Make sure you pick the one you want. --NrDg 23:43, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
i dont see which license is sufficient. which on would i use?
Any of them will work, it is basically up to you what you want to release. I suggest, if you don't mind giving up all rights to your image to use the public domain tag {{PD-self}} --NrDg 23:49, 11 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
ok, now how do i add it to the page?Igglybuff63 (talk) 00:12, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Got to Image:Pierrotthestabyhoun.jpg and edit the page to remove the warning tag and replace it with the release tag. That's all you need to do. --NrDg 00:08, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
You might wish to update the information in the information template, but don't remove it. --NrDg 00:10, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:Stafy.jpg tags edit

Don't remove the warning tags without complying with the requirements. That image is not owned by you and we need to know who does own it. You haven't used it in any article so it will likely be deleted as an unused copyrighted image. If you do use it in an article you will have to justify why it falls under WP:FREE requirements. Deleting the warning tags is generally considered vandalism, please don't do that. --NrDg 00:58, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

oops! sorry. i didnt mean to. i was editing it, and i had to go. i forgot to close out, so when it was on sleep, my computer must have deleted it. sorry. Igglybuff63 (talk) 15:57, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

unused, low-res, no obvious use
