Hello, I'm Shoy. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Isodicentric 15 have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. shoy (reactions) 15:24, 10 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

I left a message on your talk page. To summarize: We'd prefer the private and trademarked "Dup15q" term was no longer used on the Idic15 - Isodicentric 15 wikipedia page at all. Idic15 and Isodicentric 15 are medical diagnosis terms that the public can use freely, while "Dup15q" is private and cannot be used without permission. However, if "Dup15q" must be used on the Idic15 page, it should be clearly notated that "Dup15q" is a private and trademarked term that is tightly controlled by the Dup15q Alliance as seen on their webpage[1] Thank you. @Idic15: Who is "we"? Wikipedia accounts are for single editors, not groups or organizations. Also, Wikipedia cares very little for branding or the terms that organizations want to use (see WP:BRAND). We summarize reliable sources, especially in the medical field. shoy (reactions) 13:06, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Isodicentric 15. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.
