Hi, Icecold1, Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the Five pillars of Wikipedia and simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will be by to help you shortly.

Additional tips edit

Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Five will get you the datestamp only.
  • You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

Your edits to Raffles Junior College edit

Please stop re-adding your information about Wee Shu-Min until a consensus has been reached on the talk page as to how best to integrate the incident into the article. You can discuss the issue there, that's what the page is for. Thanks. -ryand 05:34, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your reverts at Raffles Junior College edit

Your edit on Raffles Junior College article goes against consensus. While you may continue to discuss the issue in the article's talk page, please refrain from reverting other people's edits. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. --Vsion 02:06, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I do not really care being block, as long as the whole truth is being presented. Apparently, you had not visited the talk page about consensus, please visit.icecold1 03:45, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Talk about consensus, Vision did not even agree to mediation in the Nanjing Massacre article. So it seems that if the so-call "consensus" is what vision's wanted, then it is ok, but if it is not, then he/she doesn't even bother for mediation.... exactly the type of attitude shared by WSM. icecold1 04:02, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Sock puppetry policy edit

Please be informed of the Wikipedia:Sock puppetry policy which states: "Do not use multiple accounts to create the illusion of greater support for an issue, to mislead others, or to circumvent a block. " Thank you. --Vsion 03:46, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

That apply to you as well.icecold1 03:50, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

It has been established that you engaged in sockpuppetry by evidence presented here:
Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Icecold1, and you are therefore blocked for period of none, as the incident seems resolved; but please consider this an official warning not to do it again
You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires.

Your blanking of the Raffles Junior College article edit

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Raffles Junior College. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -ryand 06:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I am just doing the same thing you did to mine. So you are the one that started all these vandalism. icecold1 06:25, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
By your own admission, your removal of content was malicious in nature, whereas I (and several other editors) removed your content in good faith and based on consensus. Please stop removing content and discuss the issue at hand on the talk page. Continue to remove content in this way, however, and you will be blocked. -ryand 06:34, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to remove content from pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Vsion 06:26, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sure, I will stop removing content from the page provide you stop removing mine. Your removal is also malicious in nature and do not forget, it was you who started first, not me. I am agreeable to discuss provided that mine edit is not removed until an agreement is reached.icecold1 06:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

For God's sake, all this talk of who started what first is childish and immature. Consensus has agreed that your edit should stay off the page until an agreement is reached. This is so as to maintain the integrity of the article. In any case, I'm not the only one reverting your edits; any bargain you want to make should be made on the article talk page. -ryand 07:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

it is apparent that you are guilty of starting the "deleting war" and therefore want to brush it away as childish and immature. Be more resposible for your action.icecold1 08:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

oh, by the way, it seems that you did not read my respond to your "consensus" remark - as I disagree, therefore there is no consensus. Therefore please stop claiming there is consensus. icecold1 08:12, 16 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: your message edit

Yes, I saw the edit war and associated talk page, but you were deleting large sections of valid text. Please see WP:POINT. It appears multiple editors were reverting not only your blanking but also the text you added to the article, asking you to discuss it on the talk page instead. If you would like input from other editors, the proper course of action is not to disrupt Wikipedia to make a point, but to list the article at Wikipedia:Requests for comment. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. , Don't complain on my User Talk page about me reverting it, it is not encyclopedic and does not need to be in the article, it is obvious people continue to eat shark fin soup whether Stever Irwin liked it or not. Not to mention it contains poor spelling and an unsourced statement. ScorpO 07:08, 21 December 2006 (UTC)Reply
