I would emphasize that you need to review the paid editing policy(linked to in the above post) if you are editing Wikipedia for a client. Thank you for your reply. Please put any further replies here, I will see them. I would let you know that the distinction you are drawing will be tough for many editors to see. The paid editing policy states "If you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, either directly or indirectly, you must disclose who is paying you to edit (your "employer"), who the client is, and any other relevant role or relationship." Even if your client is not technically paying you to edit Wikipedia, you still have a paid relationship with them as presumably you are being paid by the client to represent their interests somewhere. Even leaving that aside, you should still review the conflict of interest policy(WP:COI) and declare any COI you have(even if you are not paid) and follow the other aspects of the policy before you edit.
