READ THIS BEFORE WRITING ON MY TALK PAGE

edit

I DO NOT CHECK MY TALK PAGE. I DO NOT READ MESSAGES SENT TO ME ON HERE OR ANYWHERE REGARDING MY EDITS SO DO NOT COMMENT ON MY PAGE

ALSO I HAVE NOT BEEN USING WIKIPEDIA VERY LONG I'M NOT ENTIRELY SURE HOW IT OPERATES. THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO ATTEMPT TO EDUCATE ME ON THE MATTER.

Aviation accidents and incidents

edit

I've reverted your recent addition to the Air France accidents article. See WP:AIRCRASH for guidance on what is likely to be notable enough to justify an entry or article on Wikipedia. Any questions, please ask. Mjroots (talk) 19:56, 7 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ian, I appreciate that you are new to Wikipedia. I was new once too  . Your edit was obviously made in good faith and my removal of it should not be seen as criticism of your editing. Should the outcome be what you stated, there is a case that the incident will then be notable enough to be mentioned in the article. Your edit isn't completely lost, as it remains in the history of the article and is retreivable. Re your comment about me "policing" Wikipedia, had I not removed the addition, it is highly likely that another editor would have done so. Wikipedia works on a general consensus of editors. Why not take a look at WP:PRIMER, which gives guidance to new editors about what Wikipedia is and isn't. Mjroots (talk) 07:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to Air France Flight 447 does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history.

The edit summary appears in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks!
I've actually reinstated the text ..feel free to undo my edit & provide a reason if you think I'm wrong. JRPG (talk) 20:03, 28 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
