The Orontes or Asi River is a river that flows from Lebanon, then enters Syria and Turkey. Finally enters the Mediterranean Sea. The Asi/Ortontes River Basin covers 37910 square kilometers.

The total discharge of Asi/Orontes River is 8.72 cubic kilometers. At Asi/Orontes River Basin, the total population is 5.6 million, most of them are located in Turkey and Syria.
