O2

For clarification, O2 is a brand, not a trademark. It is stylized after the oxygen element as it appears in formulas, diagrams and on the Periodic Table. Within text, the stylized version can be featured once. Itsbydesign (talk) 22:01, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Kylie Disc

Looking at the Britney Spears discography, this looks like the same thing with a Kylie twist. This is a perfect lead and I definitely support it replacing the current one. Question. Why is her discography split in two? Both articles are quite large, but I don't see that as why it should be split. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 22:54, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Won't be able to review until the weekend, but trust me I will, by the looks of things it looks wayyy better than the previous one, bbut then again I haven't read it in detail. =D--Blackjacks101 (talk) 23:55, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

RE: On the Floor

Oh, nobody in particular! XD User:Cprice1000/On the Floor. At least half of the credit should go towards Lil-Unique who has already made the article GA ready. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 02:43, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

You would absolutely deserve it!

I have a question. If you created an incubated article and then somebody copied that article and put it in mainspace because it charted but did not change the wording so it was the exact same thing but with a charts section, would you still be the original creator of the article? The article I am speaking of is Better Than Today and I was only a few months old or so when I made it so I did not know about all the policies quite yet, so I had no idea where to report something like that. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:04, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Let me re-phrase, creator of the original Better Than Today. I was rather upset when he/she copied my page and put it on Wiki without giving me credit at all. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:02, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

RE:Whoop Whoop

Well, no one was editing it so I said whatever and moved it. I help it helps a lot. --23:03, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

The first source might not be great but About.com is perfect. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 23:17, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

? I've never known anything to be wrong with About as it is used in many composition and review sections. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 23:29, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

sigh I don't want any questions, so I think I'll just use this. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 23:35, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Chiggy Wiggy

Shall I merge the article with the soundtrack article? There's not much to add to the articles, btw. Novice7 | Talk 05:10, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Kylie Minogue singles discography

What a great job you've been doing! Keep up the great work. And if you need any help, I'm here. nding·start 04:06, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Okay, so I asked my friend Adabow, and he advised to use the Hot 100 peaks instead of the Dance chart peaks. Bubbling Under can be mentioned as a note. What do you say? Novice7 | Talk 09:12, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering if the three of us (Help, Novice and I) nominate this together when it's ready for FL. I know Novice has experience with FL, and we've all really worked hard on it. It would also be faster to get things fixed up once they appear. What do you think? nding·start 16:20, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Can you point me towards the discussion? Sorry about that. I've been doing so much at once. xD nding·start 16:27, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Looks as if we have some work to do. I've fixed up a few things. The main problem is the lead. I agree with them, it's WWWAYYY too long. I was going to do it, but you pretty much wrote it, so I don't really know what's important and what is not. nding·start 15:03, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

I check marked them with done on the page. nding·start 17:50, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Alrighty. I really hope this can get to FL status. It's an amazing article. nding·start 17:56, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
It still looks a bit bulky. Maybe it'd be easier to just mention very successful singles from each album. Some parts explain WAY too much, and some barely, such as this one: "After returning to full health and prominence, Minogue released her tenth and eleventh studio album in 2007 and 2010 respectively. X spawned singles "2 Hearts", "In My Arms", "Wow", "All I See", and "The One" while Aphrodite spawned singles "All the Lovers", "Get Outta My Way", and "Better Than Today"." Know what I mean? nding·start 18:56, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
I'll give it a go. nding·start 19:00, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Okay, it's harder than it looks. :L All the information is quite useful. nding·start 19:08, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Ikr? And this article is by far much better than some of them out there. nding·start 19:50, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

LOL. I know what you mean. But that's only three people. I'm sure more people are going to come in. nding·start 20:35, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
I don't understand now. I just saw that Madonna's singles disco went through with no problem. What's the problem with Kylie's? nding·start 18:22, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Fever

Revamp is coming along nice! So far, I've added a critical reception section, promotion section, and pretty much wrote the entire lead. Hoping to get finished tomorrow. I really take awhile on my revamps, considering it was Wednesday when I began. Also, you are doing an amazing job on the discography and WikiProject! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 02:37, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Other successful GAs? Sounds like you're trying to get it to GA level! :P She really deserves this, it is one of my favorite Kylie albums! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:10, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Oh yes! I didn't think of that, I just split the section away from the lump of information that was "album information." And the singles section is just another malformed singles section of an old a neglected album article. Surprised it even has one. Heehee! I will die if it becomes the first GA that I have seriously worked on! My others, I contributed a lot to, but I'm not as attached to them as this one. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:16, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh, and I am thinking of making a massive composition section, like on "Circus", which has been my model article this whole time and is what I based the lead on. Most of the reviews go really in depth with the songs, so I hope there will be plenty of information! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:19, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! That would be amazing!!!! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:27, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
XD Please, I hardly did anything to "Unusual You." I just added the CD stuff and single release notes, etc. Wish I had known it charted when I first made the page. It would have been really nice to have that GA. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:27, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Also, I want to turn to focusing on the Aphrodite singles and/or Body Language next. They are my two top Kylie albums and I want them to shine. "Better Than Today" especially since I created the content. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:32, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
You're right. Them, then I'm going directly to "Red Blooded Woman", which is probably my favorite Kylie song. There is just something about the lyrics that create such an amazing hook! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:42, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

(→) It should be expanded and moved. Maybe, more Music info will help. Novice7 | Talk 04:05, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Oh, you mean Fever certifications? I'm so sorry, and I've restored them, but removed the fansite source, as it is purely unreliable. I also added a {{refimprove}} tag. Actually, I researched for about two weeks, and could find only some information. Sorry again :) Novice7 | Talk 09:53, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Sorry again. Please forgive me. I jump into something without thinking and that leads to problems. And, I'm also a little dumb you see :D Novice7 (talk) 04:34, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, lol.. I always forget that. It's the third menu that I messed up :D Novice7 (talk) 07:16, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

UGH! I got really distracted yesterday and I couldn't finish the comp. So far, I have about half of it done. Should be on the article before tomorrow. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 12:49, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

  Done :P --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:15, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

Question

Would you consider this site reliable? I am looking for Fever background info and this site has some of it. I have been pushing off fixing up the page for awhile now. I just seem to have little time. :( --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:32, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) Nope! It seems like a fansite. Not reliable. – Novice7 (talk) 04:04, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi! I've removed my name from the FL nomination. I don't think I contributed to the article enough, to be a nominator. You really deserve the full credit for the article. I will fix the issues on the article when you're not online, and will surely help you with it :) – Novice7 (talk) 11:51, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, but take a look at Rambling Man's comments here. I thought we could take a precaution. – Novice7 (talk) 16:15, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Initially, when I nominated my list for FL, I thought the same thing (that there are articles to verify). But he said we needed cites. I couldn't find any references for "Secret" and "Too Far". Does the book you have say anything about them? – Novice7 (talk) 16:23, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Nope. Eil, Discogs, Mattscdsingles, and Musicstack are unreliable. Let me dig some websites up =D – Novice7 (talk) 16:34, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Maybe we can use this template?? I'm not sure. – Novice7 (talk) 16:45, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
The Eil cover is not clear enough. Do you have an account at MixKylie? Then, this might help. I forgot my account username and password. I have to check my emails now :D – Novice7 (talk) 17:09, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
They do have all the covers, but is it only for me? I can't seem to see it clear. We just need the PID (the barcode or some kinda code printed below). I've added everything else. – Novice7 (talk) 17:27, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
Done! I'm logging off now. It's night here. – Novice7 (talk) 17:35, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Teena Marie

Hi. I just wanted to thank you for your comment at Talk:Teena Marie, and offer my apologies for being a tad brusk in my initial response. We both seem to feel fairly strongly about this. You have far more experience here than I. Do you have a suggestion as to what we can do to resolve our differences amicably? Joefromrandb (talk) 22:02, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

For The Fame Monster and Born This Way discussion pages claiming they're second and third studio albums respectively. Akerk (talk) 22:50, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

But I'm respectfully requesting help for this, I've joined wikipedia for this sole reason and took my time to read the rules and all the way things work here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:STICK http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Get_over_it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Don't_bludgeon_the_process http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Catch_Once_and_Leave http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:The_Last_Word http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:How_many_legs_does_a_horse_have%3F http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Do_not_disrupt_Wikipedia_to_illustrate_a_point http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Use_common_sense#Use_common_sense http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Don't_spite_your_face http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Time_to_take_the_dog_for_a_walk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Just_drop_it

People have used this strategies on me, and I've fallen, and yes, they have irritated me and frustrated me with this. I just want a couple of words changed, not because I want to, but because I respect the artist and I think wikipedia is wrongfully giving information about her albums. This encyclopedia is being visited a lot and I see as a bad thing that Wikipedia cites this information wrong. I've tried to make my point in many ways but people wouldn't simply listen throughfully, now, I've done it your way, talking calmed and did the most important thing, cite sources, and I think I've done it right, with Born This Way, I've cited a lot of sources, more sources say it's her third studio album, including Billboard so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be changed since I've already cited sources. This is the most important thing about Wikipedia, right? Verifiability. And I've done it. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be changed now. Akerk (talk) 00:13, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

I think you're using one of the recommendations from the pages above. It's not a fight over it's an EP or album, you're misdirecting this and atributing my reasons to something is not. If you don't want to call TFM a studio album AND EP at the same time, wich is what I'm aiming for, great but I've got 10 sources on the Born This Way saying it's her third studio album. Now, you're just trying to give it a rest even though I'm backing what I'm saying, ok, leave TFM alone, but I suggest Born This Way should be changed to third studio album as my ten sources claim, two from Billboard. Akerk (talk) 00:53, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

It was reached a quite some time ago you can find it here at the 9 singles section, and here at the Lady Gaga Chronology section.--Blackjacks101 (talk) 02:14, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
