File:Leehom.jpg edit

There is no evidence that you are the copyright holder for this file or have permission to upload it. If you are the copyright holder, you need to e-mail permissions-commons@wikimedia.org to verify this. rʨanaɢ (talk) 01:34, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

i would like to change the picture profile of leehom wang but can't seem to do it.

That's because you're uploading a picture that is a copyright violation. You need to learn the Wikipedia policies before you try to change the picture. rʨanaɢ (talk) 03:06, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

but i have obtained permission from the website which was why i even initiated the change in the first place.

You haven't demonstrated that. I already left you a message explaining how you can do that (by e-mailing permissions-commons@wikimedia.org).

oh yes, you did. so all i have to do is flick them an email? Do i need to include the picture or any additional info?

Thanks for the guidance. One more thing, how do you include a reference in the reference list to solidify new statements made about Wang?

Read the Wikipedia tutorial; the answers to these questions are quite easy to find there.
And again, stop replacing the picture without discussion, and stop uploading images that violate copyright. Next time you do it, I will have to block you. rʨanaɢ (talk) 22:36, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
violate copyright? that picture belongs to me!

Edit warring edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Leehom Wang. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. rʨanaɢ (talk) 02:55, 26 April 2010 (UTC) im sorry i cant speak chinese. however, are you able to tell me as to how to go about uploading an image that was already posted in a public domain?Reply

oh yes, you did. so all i have to do is flick them an email?

It certainly was not posted in the public domain, it has a copyright tag right on it.
If you really do have permission to use it, you need to send permissions-commons@wikimedia.org an e-mail including both the URL of the file that you've uploaded, and proof that you have permission (ideally, you should forward them whatever e-mail the copyright holder sent to you giving permission). It needs to say specifically what license they are releasing it under. rʨanaɢ (talk) 03:20, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
and why on earth did you delete my editing? i even referenced them right.
No, you referenced them with junk links that are not reliable sources. Please try actually reading the policy pages I am linking to you; I don't add the links just to make the words pretty. rʨanaɢ (talk) 13:26, 27 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Final warning edit

Another user at commons has caught you in your lie. Consider this your final warning. If you violate the image policy or copyright policy again I will ask to have you indefinitely blocked from both Wikipedia and Commons. rʨanaɢ (talk) 07:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
