Hi Hutchies, and welcome to Wikipedia! Good start on Andriessen. He's an important composer, as you mention. By the way, there used to be a substantial page on Earle Brown but it turned out to be a copyright violation, and got deleted, which is why that important composer is a redlink (actually I studied with him myself a ways back...)

I see you've already got the hang of editing here, but here's the welcome page which has lots of useful links: Wikipedia:Welcome,_newcomers.

Once again it's good to have someone else interested in the composers Wikiproject, and I hope to see you around for a while. Take care, Antandrus (talk) 17:19, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

More greetings from me: and a fellow double-reeder, too! Nice start on your draft of L. Andriessen. I don't know his music very well—actually, I like Jurriaan primarily because I'm fond of his chamber works for the oboe and the English horn; have you heard any? Welcome to Wikipedia, and the Composers project. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 02:00, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Hello, Hutchies, and welcome. You seem to know what you're doing! I liked your edits on Witold Lutosławski, I think an improvement in every case. Andriessen is a good start - I remember discovering Andriessen through a marvellous recording of his De Stijl. By the way, you may find the 5 pillars useful. See you around the Wiki. --RobertGtalk 28 June 2005 10:06 (UTC)
