Dardeen family murders in Ina, IL 1987.
editI am from this area and left in 1987. I thought it had been reported that Keith Dardeen was a Jefferson County Sheriff's deputy. My father had been a Mt. Vernon police officer and later worked at the Sheriff's office, so this stuck with me. Did you ever read anything about that? Information often gets awfully bumbled in the press early on. Thank you.
