Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

First off, I had lost the password on that other account before being blocked indefinitely, and now I can't retrieve the account because I logged out. Secondly, what am I doing wrong in my edits to get blocked? I do not understand... I try my best to always add a reason for an edit I make. And by the way, I have never vandalized any pages by writing bad things about that page's subject, which in fact I have sometimes come across in pages and even reverted. My only intention with my edits is to improve the information about the subjects in the pages. Please, anyone explain me the reason for my block so that I can better myself at editing what I want to edit. Hugo.Std95 (talk) 03:02, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

You are not allowed to create a new account while blocked, it's that simple. Until you address the reasons for your block and succeed in an appeal, all new accounts and IP editing is WP:Evasion. Read WP:GAB. You immediately began evading your previous block and trying to fly under the radar again, which simply isn't acceptable. -- ferret (talk) 13:12, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hey. I've been thinking deeply about this over the past eight months and I'm now planning to request an unblock. So I've been reading how to do it, and could you just please clarify all the reasons for my block so that I can acknowledge them all in my unblock request? Request reason:

Good afternoon. I've had another Wikipedia account in the past that was blocked from editing pages because I hadn't responded to a message telling me to add reasons for my edits, which, by the way, I thought were quite appropriate (by the way, I've never vandalized pages and even sometimes undid edits from other users that I thought were vandalism). Furthermore, I also did not respond to requests for answers on my talk page where my activity was questioned and now I understand that I should have responded. However, I lost the password to that account and was never able to retrieve that same account. So I created a new account called "Hugo.Std95" and made edits to pages that I didn't add reasons for and ended up also having this account blocked in July 2022, as this was seen as evading the blocking of the other account that I had. In actuality, I only created the new account because I couldn't retrieve the password to the first Wikipedia account that I had and was unable to ask to unblock that first account. I know perfectly well that the main reason I'm blocked from editing pages with the account "Hugo.Std95" is that I don't add reasons for my edits and I don't respond to requests to chat on my talk page. I recognize my mistakes and I can admit that I have learned my lesson and from now on I intend to ALWAYS add a reason for any page edit I make, no matter how small, and also interact with other users on the talk page when my activity might be questioned. I hope that my reasons for unblocking my "Hugo.Std95" account are reasonable and that you understand that I only intend to make edits to improve the information on the page in question and not vandalize it. I would really appreciate that.

Decline reason:

No. The stated reason for the block is your evasion of your prior block. You admit that. It therefore appears to be a good block. I also see you've evaded that block over and over again, this month and earlier in 2024. Clearly you haven't the slightest intention of abiding by Wikipedia's policies at this time. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblock request

Again,   Confirmed block evasion (WP:LOUTSOCK) on 2024-05-18. WP:SO is probably the only path open at this point. As of today, that would mean no further editing until 2024-11-23. --Yamla (talk) 16:28, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

What does this mean, then? Hugo.Std95 (talk) 17:51, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I suggest closing (removing) your open unblock request, performing zero further edits, then on or after 2024-11-23, make a new unblock request under the terms outlined at WP:SO, noting that you've avoided all edits for six months as a means to demonstrate your newfound commitment to sticking to a single account. --Yamla (talk) 18:28, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I got it. Can I just ask if there is another way to unblock sooner? Hugo.Std95 (talk) 18:43, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are free to contest your block sooner, but given that you've violated WP:BLOCK, WP:EVADE, and WP:SOCK over and over again, it's unlikely the unblock will be granted, then you'll have to wait even longer. --Yamla (talk) 18:47, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay. So I wait six months and then on or after 2024-11-23, I make a new unblock request, that's it? Hugo.Std95 (talk) 19:15, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
And remove your existing open unblock request. As you know from reading WP:SO, this is not a guarantee, but it would be a meaningful demonstration that you've stopped violating Wikipedia's policies. --Yamla (talk) 19:16, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Have there been successful unblock requests like that before? Hugo.Std95 (talk) 19:26, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes. This is my last response to you. --Yamla (talk) 19:47, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
