Hannah's Peer Review

edit

Lead Section: The lead section is great; it gets right to the point and doesn't give away too much information. Maybe you could add what style the painting is (historical, landscape, etc.).

Structure: The structure of the article is clear and organized. I like how there is a small section on the artist before the explanation of the painting, it gives the reader more background on the subject. I think that if you're starting with artist information which briefly mentions the history of the artist, then it might make more sense to go right into historical context after this section. I also think the section about the subject matter is good and really informational, but it would be nice to know a little more about the visual analysis of the painting. For example, you could add in information on the composition or symbolism.

Balanced Coverage: The sources are used equally throughout the article which is really good. I like that each headed section has information under it.

Neutral Content: The language is very neutral, I didn't notice any signs of language that is trying to persuade.

Reliable Sources: The sources are look reliable, but I would add in more citations to the following sections: subject matter, historical context, and style. I also see that there are at least five citations at the end of the article, but I didn't see a bibliography section listing at least five sources. I would add a separate bibliography or reference section for your sources.Kenzie665 (talk) 00:51, 4 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
