Hello. I see this is a new ID so welcome to wikipedia. If you click on the cartoon, the info page says what I know about the cartoon. There is an online copy of the book in which it was published at http://www.archive.org/details/cu31924006692796 but it does not say precisely when it was originally published. Presumably when this was topical news at the time the US was exchanging notes with Germany after the sinkings, so after 7 May 1915 Sandpiper (talk) 22:35, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Be aware some of its facts about the sinking are terrible. It is what it is, an early account when the war was still going and official secrecy and propaganda was in full swing. Sandpiper (talk) 07:49, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
