Notability of Nate jardas edit

A tag has been placed on Nate jardas requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Accounting4Taste 23:16, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  1. The article at Nate jardas was already deleted once for failing to abide by Wikipedia's guideline on biography notability at WP:BIO. Please don't recreate it again, as this is considered disruptive and could lead to your being blocked from editing.
  2. I have removed the "Dislikes" section as offensive. Wikipedia has firm policies against making attacks on individuals, races or religions, and if you plan on editing here, you would be advised to follow those policies. Corvus cornix 20:37, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
You do not have a right to "free speech" on a privately-owned website. You have the right to abide by the site's policies, or to leave. Corvus cornix 20:38, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your note edit

I see that you have, as indicated, recreated the page and that it has already again been deleted. As Corvus cornix points out to you, this isn't a Freedom of speech issue. Wikipedia is not a governmental agency and has the right to set its own standards for inclusion. Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies, set forth in your welcome message above, and review "What Wikipedia is Not" before creating new articles. There are many blog sites out there that would be happy to host your joke. Thank you. --Moonriddengirl 20:59, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
