General

This page is for all professional golfers who had top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, but never won an officially-sanctioned PGA Tour event, and recognizes that these golfers are less likely than Tour winners to get their own article. Many of the golfers who appear on this page won unofficial events, had numerous regular career wins in regional and sectional events, and had distinguished amateur/college careers; some blossomed on the senior circurt; many appeared as redlinks in runnerup columns on prominent golfer and tournament pages. The purpose of developing this page was to provide Wikipedia users with some information about these players, who had successful careers as golfers except as PGA Tour winners. That being said, however, no user should be detered from creating an article for one of the golfers on this page, should that user wish to do so.

Golfers who have a Wikipedia article

• Put the name of golfers who have an article in Wikipedia as an Internal Link.
• For golfers who have their own page, leave the columns after the name blank. (Because that information is already in their article (presumably).)

Golfers who do not have a Wikipedia article

• For golfers who do not have their own page in Wikipedia, which is the case for the majority of golfers on this page, put their name in bold and fill out the columns.
• For golfers who do not have their own page in Wikipedia, put their name as a redirect into this page.
• For golfers who are known by a nickname or their middle name, also put their full name (real name) as a redirect into this page.
