How do you...

What's the template for the "Missing Barnstar" that lists all the secret hidden subpages you've found? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikkimaria (talkcontribs) 13:34, 1 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's a Template:MissingBarnstar. Hope this helps! =)  hmwith  talk 15:24, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, much appreciated. Nikkimaria 15:39, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Would you...

Be interested to sign my autograph book? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:49, 04 September 2007 (UTC) Maybe next time you'll be in the top 5. But thanks for signing. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:42, 05 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scarlet?

I know what you mean. I noticed it didn't match and I know scarlet is brighter than just plain red, so I was wondering what was up with that. It's probably just the logo itself...it is much more red than scarlet...maybe it need's updated or corrected? But I TOTALLY agree with you...it's SCARLET and Gray not red and gray!! --JonRidinger 03:29, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Haha, yeah, if you go to OSU's webpage, it has that darker scarlet as well. Someone messed up big time somewhere... haha.  hmwith  talk 15:45, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

RfA

Are you ready yet to accept your RfA nom? WaltonOne 13:00, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Almost. It's really hectic now, as I'm moving back down to school for the fall quarter this Friday, so I decided I'll wait until I'm settled there to do it. To be in the middle of it while moving would be crazy, and I'd be slow to respond to queries.  hmwith  talk 14:22, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Comment

This comment no doubt pertains somewhat to you. Good luck in the upcoming school year! --wpktsfs 00:10, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Aw, yay! Thanks for the notification. I just moved down here on Friday, 14th, but I still don't have internet access yet (I'm borrowing my friend's for now). I'm going crazy. Hope everything's well.  hmwith  talk 23:15, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Welcome back!

I remember when I moved and didn't have an internet connection for what seemed like ages... I feel your pain. Welcome back! ;) EVula // talk // // 14:56, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, EVula! Yeah, they set it up Saturday (the day after we moved in), and 3 service calls later, we finally got it working (today, Thursday). I was honestly dying. I don't think one can realize how addicted he/she is to Wikipedia, or the internet in general, until it is not readily available. It was death.  hmwith  talk 17:57, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I had no clue how much I used the internet. I even had applications that used the internet that I didn't even know used it... and took others for granted. Not knowing what the weather was like for the next week, or what was on the radar, or what traffic was like with just the flick of a button was maddening. (incidentally, this is my 666th edit of my talk page. creepy...)

Hoop Guy....

Thought I'd drop you a note to wish you Good Luck in your "young" life, and to tell you your picture jumped out at me, as I've always been partial to a ladie's beautiful hoops, and pretty face too!

AAARanger5 15:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much. Just for future reference, when you use the <big> tag, make sure to use the </big> tag after what you say, so the rest of the page and other user's comments don't show up enlarged as well.  hmwith  talk 18:00, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You're absolutely correct Hayley! Normally, I do remember to put the </___> at the end. Thanks for reminding me though :) Nice pics on your page. By the way, why did you require the Oxygen? AAARanger5 19:10, 20 September 2007 (UTC) AlanReply

No worries. I actually went into anaphylactic shock after I got an allergy injection.  hmwith  talk 19:19, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wow! I'm three times your age (though I'm certain you have several more years computer experience than I do), and can't imagine a scary situation like that! I liked your contribution to the Anaphylaxis page. You're an excellent editor, and appear to have the awards to prove it. Take care. PS: If you're going to Ohio State, I'm not too far from you.... AAARanger5 19:58, 20 September 2007 (UTC) AlanReply

Haha, I realized that I never added the picture there, so I decided to go for it. Thank you for the praises, and it's funny, but the awards are all actually pretty dated. Glad to hear you're near OSU, because that probably means you're a buckeyes fan. In that case, GO BUCKS!  hmwith  talk 21:47, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Hayley! Just came home from my son's (adult) hockey game. My daughter went too, even she's older than you are :) RE: teams; I like MSU, Notre Dame, and OSU (always have liked those three). I lived in Lima, OH for a few years in the 70's, and worked for a radio station there. Have a good night - don't let the bedbugs bite  :)AAARanger5 01:56, 21 September 2007 (UTC)AlanReply

*pokes*

What's the deal with the RfA? Still waiting patiently, I am...btw. is it me, or does this talk page not have section edit links? Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 00:01, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for the poke, haha. I wanted to wait until I was well, and then, as soon as that happened, I had to move down to school. Today was actually my third day of classes, but I think I can handle the RfA at this time, but might not be able to respond hourly or anything. I'm about to put it up today. =) And nope, no section links. With the way my page is formatted (the archive part), the edit links showed up incorrectly. For example, to edit the "*pokes*" section, you'd have to click the edit button for "Hoop Guy....". Tricky.  hmwith  talk 19:05, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gah, I hate not being able to edit section :( Sure you can't change that?! Anyways, good luck! Dihydrogen Monoxide (H2O) 05:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Haha, We're on different time zones. I'm sorry! I didn't want to do anything that would remotely seem like WP:CANVASSing. About the links, I know. Same here. I'll work on it right now. I didn't know it bothered anyone else a great deal. I don't want it to hold one back from commenting on the page!  hmwith  talk 14:40, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Typo on your userpage

On your userpage you said you are "anal about grammar, spelling, organization, etc.", so I thought you'd like to know that you have a typo in the section called Do you contribute to any WikiProjects?. You have "tudies" instead of "studies". Figured you might want to fix that. Useight 23:53, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much! I don't know how I missed that, but it's been fixed. Have a great day!  hmwith  talk 01:47, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Deleted edits?

While reviewing your edit history for your RfA, I noticed that quite a few of your April and May edits were deleted. In comparing the edit counts from your first RfA [1] to your current RfA [2], it looks like nearly 1200 of your April edits (23% of your edits for the entire month) disappeared, with another 162 (5%) of your May edits having been deleted. What happened? --Kralizec! (talk) 01:26, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, I don't know? I had a few article deleted, as well... before I fully knew the notability guidelines. And I helped clean up other articles that ended up being deleted as well. I also went through, adding a lot of WP:SPEEDY (and WP:AFD) templates to articles that were deleted. That's all of which I can think...  hmwith  talk 01:44, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

What happened to your user page? I see that it lost 831 edits between your RfAs.--Kralizec! (talk) 01:54, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ohh, yeah, that's probably why. I used to have a bunch of pages in my userspace, which I deleted. I deleted my userpage and started over from scratch a bit back, as well.  hmwith  talk 01:59, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Colour me confused, but why would you have your userpage deleted? Why not just ... remake it however you wanted? --Kralizec! (talk) 02:06, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure. I did tons of practice edits on it, how to make templates, transclude, colors, etc. The edits were really building it, and it was overwhelming looking through the edit history. I decided that I just wanted to start over with it. No real set reason, really. It's just easier to look through the edit history now, and get rid of all of my random, messed up edits from before I knew that there was an "edit preview" button, haha.  hmwith  talk 14:32, 25 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to WikiProject recruitment for WikiProjects

Hmwith,

Would you be interested in trying to make your (proposed) WikiProject becoming a succes by actively involving yourself in a recruitment agency aimed at establishing an active base of participants for a WikiProject?--Daanschr 10:29, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello Hayley

Hi there, hope you're a lot better after your surgery a while back! I'm just back from a wikibreak after over two years without internet at home (I was editing at work). Glad I came back in time to vote in your RfA. Good luck, cheers, umdrums 19:05, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, thank you! I've seen you around a bit, so I'm definitely glad that you got to voice your opinion. I'm glad that you finally got your internet back. Have a great day enjoying being online!  hmwith  talk 21:08, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
