Jenhawk: I can't even find my article on my user page. Where did it go??? Why is Wikipedia so difficult to use?????? Where is my article???? Historysistery (talk) 11:49, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
By "my article", do you mean Ellis R. Lippincott Jr.? In general, it is quite difficult to start WP-editing by creating an article, it is recommended to do simpler edits and improve existing content for awhile first, to get an idea how this place works. I have no desire to "edit". I came to Wikipedia to create an article on Ellis R. Lippincott Jr. I think I have done that. But it seems to be nowhere on Wikipedia, i.e., it does not come up when I do a Wikipedia search. Thanks for your help. Historysistery (talk) 21:23, 27 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
No article will ever appear on your user page. It only appears as itself, by its title, after being assessed, passed and published.
If you click on the view history, in blue, on the top line, at the article, you can see that C.Fred has tagged the article as needing additional citation. That's an almost universal complaint for first articles, and it looks correct to me, but if you disagree, you can discuss it with him on the article's talk page, on your own talk page or on his.
It is also a problem that nearly all of the references are done incorrectly. I can do a new article assessment, but for it to pass, those things need to be fixed. Jenhawk777 (talk) 03:15, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Jenhawk--Found you! I thought my citations were done correctly. Can you please let me know which ones are incorrect? Thank you. Historysistery (talk) 11:53, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

You cannot correct what you perceive to be an error by inserting an all-caps admonition into the article. You could delete the error (for lack of source) and provide a justification as your edit summary, or demand that a reliable source be provided (and then delete the error in a week or two if none is provided).
