articles to work on

edit

Hi Valory! I just wanted to share my thoughts on the potential articles you've proposed. Both of the biographies are great choices, especially Ibn al-Nafis (which gets the most traffic); they are important figures with really under-developed articles, and a biography is a nice self-contained topic that it's easy to dive into. Kampo would also be a good project, if you have some solid sources ready to expand on it; the article doesn't really deal with the history of it at all. Japanese philosophy is a really broad topic to tackle for your assignment; although there's plenty of room for improvement, it might take a lot of research just to understand the contours of the topic before you even start expanding it (unless you've already got a strong background in the breadth of Japanese philosophy). The history of zoology article is not one I'd recommend, unless you're pretty well-versed in the historiography of biology; the premise in the first place is somewhat ahistorical (a history of a field that developed as something distinct from natural history only relatively late in the chronology) and it would require a lot of effort to either revise the existing content or figure out how to move the article forward without doing so. Good luck!--ragesoss (talk) 01:03, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Good Morning Val, I hope you are bringing your article for me to review. See you in class. Niccole — Preceding unsigned comment added by NAdele (talkcontribs) 13:07, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

refs

Hi! I saw that you said you're having trouble with refs. In your sandbox, I added the code that makes the footnotes show up at the bottom. If you're having any more trouble with them, let me know. You can also check out the videos here and here for a quick overview of making citations, if you like.--ragesoss (talk) 21:44, 5 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
