Muscegue Indians in Fla. and Ala. edit
Granddad Babb, Family and others went by canoe to the Fla. Keys to resettle after hurricane kill all the Cherokee in the 1940's. He moved through Fla. as a sharecropper. He made his home in the Pensacola area. The Avery's was the youngest of 8 children. Jeanette, my mom being the oldest lived her life in Columbus GA and Opelika, Ala. I am now in NC now.
