Topic Ban Review
Hi, I've requested that the community review my Topic Ban at WP:ANI#Topic Ban Review (2nd Attempt). -- HighKing++ 17:06, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
- There might be 'only' 1 way to convince the others. Promise that you'll 'never again' delete or replace British Isles. In otherwords, a self-imposed top-ban, to have current top-ban lifted. GoodDay (talk) 14:29, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
- Seems that way. In which case, I'll still always be editting under a shadow which isn't what I want. I think it is unjust and harsh to impose a Topic Ban based on the reaction a sock might have to an edit sometime in the future... -- HighKing++ 14:37, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

- Apologies for the extended delay in providing a formal close to the Topic ban review. The outcome was no consensus for lifting the topic ban (which therefore remains in place), and rejection of the idea of a probation period. Sorry, I know this is not the result you were looking for. - That's fine, I spoke with Snowded and he's happy to advise on anything. Hopefully I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and the next Topic ban review will result in a happy outcome. Have you any words of advice having reviewed the Topic Ban Review? ---- HighKing++ 11:23, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
- Not especially, I think you handled it well but there simply wasn't the support to lift the ban. Give the mentoring a go, as a sign of good faith if nothing else - if it goes well that would be a plus for the next time you seek a review. Other than that - its a big encyclopedia, edit in other topics. :) Euryalus (talk) 11:35, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
