Esper

Dear HighKing, I had added a vendor to the list of vendors on the page about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complex_event_processing. I if see correctly, you reverted that edit because there was no page for Esper_(CPE) yet. I have now added a page for the vendor (Esper) that is an Open Soure project. Maybe that makes my original edit relevant again ? Thanks, Peter Vandenabeele Petervandenabeele (talk) 16:19, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi Peter, you had originally linked to CEP which is a dab page. I see the page you've created now but currently that article would not meet the guidelines (see WP:N). There's already an external link to Espertech in the CEP article so perhaps it wouldn't be too difficult to create an article on Espertech and redirect Esper to that article instead, with appropriate references to show that Espertech is a notable company. -- HighKing++ 17:14, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Dear HighKing. I saw the proposed Esper_(CPE) page is on a list for deletion. I responded to that in this location: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Salimfadhley#Esper_.28CPE.29 I think that the Open Source software "Esper" is actually more noteable (as the Open Source software that is widely used), compared to the company Espertech that is providing support for it. In that response to User Salimfadhley I have also added links to a book about Esper, scholarly articles ("Springer") about Esper and separate blog item about Esper as the leading Open Source tool for Complex Event Analysis. Thanks for your time.
Hi Peter, I'll take a look and see if an Esper article might meet WP:N, and what I can do you help. Can you post here any links you believe show that Esper meets notability guidelines WP:N please? -- HighKing++ 17:25, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
