Proposed deletion of Weather facts and fun

edit

The article Weather facts and fun has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable unpublished book lacking GHits and GNEWS. Appears to fail WP:NOTBOOK.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ttonyb1 (talk) 22:11, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Josh Judge

I'm still not sure he's notable or that he passes our guidelines for biographies. We need multiple independent reliable sources covering him in depth, at least. p.s. Great username. Namaste. Fences&Windows 01:37, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for helping out Wikipedia. It's a great resource. However, we are talking about one of the primary meteorologists on the largest, most powerful TV stations in northern New England. I wanted to show that with the reference to WMUR's media numbers. I totally realize that if you are from another part of the country, you may not have heard the name. But everyone - and I mean everyone - up here knows who he is - he's VERY well known in NH, VT, ME and Mass. I just wanted to add a bit tonight with some reliable sources, including NH magazine and WMUR. I'll be adding more sources soon. I just got tired of editing tonight. :O) Thanks for the compliment on the name. Take care! HenryGaleisBen (talk) 03:01, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Local fame isn't the same as encyclopedic notability, but I'm not going to press the issue in this case as it's borderline and I'm not a deletionist. Some more sources would be great. Enjoy contributing! Fences&Windows 02:29, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
