Traffic congestion article edit

Hi, and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately I've had to revert your additions to Traffic congestion, because they are not in compliance with wikipedia's policies banning the insertion of original research. All information in Wikipedia articles must be verified by reliable sources. If your work has been published, if it is notable enough, it will eventually be added to Wikipedia. Otherwise, the information cannot be in articles. Thanks, and feel free to ask me on my talk page if you have any questions. Qwyrxian (talk) 11:33, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not continue adding that information to the Traffic congestion page. Doing so may be considered disruptive. Please ask any questions you have, but do not continue to add unsourced original research. Even the simple fact that you're writing in first person (using "I") is fundamentally unacceptable for WP articles--all information must be neutral and from independent, reliable sources. September 2010 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Traffic congestion, you may be blocked from editing.

Please do not insert the text again using this or any other Wikipedia account. The text is not appropriate for Wikipedia, for the reasons stated above. bonadea contributions talk 12:09, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Edit Warring edit

One last try...please know that in addition to not allowing original research, Wikipedia also does not allow people to continually WP:Edit war over the content of articles. One aspect of those policies is called the 3-Revert Rule. This rule states that if you revert another users actions more than 3 times on the same article in 24 hours, you can be blocked. At this point, you have reverted the removal of OR 3 times on Traffic congestion. If you do so again, you will be reported for violating 3RR and your editing privileges temporarily blocked. There is no need for this to happen--please engage with me here, on my talk page, or on the article's talk page. Qwyrxian (talk) 12:12, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

From blocked editor edit

Hi, This is Hemant from India. I edited information in Traffic Congestion artcle on WP on 23 sep-10 but my account has been blocked. As far as in formation is concerned , It is right and i can give to some mail id's where i sent the same information. This is my own design and want to tell people that there is solution of traffic congestion. you are requested to unblocked my account. if you need any other information regading the changes what i made on WP, i can can give you. (written by Hermant).

Hi. Your account was blocked for two reasons--one, you are adding what is, at best, original research--note that you specifically say here that the information is "your own design." Wikipedia is not the place to put up information of your own design. At worst, this could be considered spamming, as people could argue you're trying to direct them to your site/information. Second, you were using multiple accounts to edit--this one, the IP, and Free.traffic. Wikipedia allows each person to edit with only one account. In order for you to be allowed to edit again, you'll have to 1) promise to edit from only one account, and 2) deal with the original research/spamming issue. If your intention after potentially being unblocked is to simply add the same info again, then, while I am not an admin, I would argue that you shouldn't be unblocked. There is a way for you to request to be unblocked, but I'm not sure which account the admin who blocked you wants you to do it from. I'll ask him/her for you, and get back to you. Hi, I promise you that i will use only one account and that is Hemant.india.

Ok, I've reset your block timer; you will be able to edit again in 10.5 hours. However, you were blocked for a violation of WP:SPAM (you were clearly talking about your own product, which is not the purpose of Wikipedia) and for the violation of WP:3RR, which is the rule that says not to make more than 3 reverts per day on one article. Please don't edit war. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:42, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
