Hello Hélène, thanks for your support on OpenShot. This article get sometimes some false informations, your help is welcome ! Please complete a little your userpage (user:Helen McCall). Yug (talk) 21:16, 20 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hello, yes, you use the talk page in the right way :). Each user's own talk page is like a his own forum, where other can ask questions or give advices.
For your user page, note first that you are beginer, from which area of the world you come (Country or State is enough). Your points of interest (history, Chile, Japan, Video games, music ?) and especially those were you will contribute a lot. If you have some confirmed skills : Master degree in [History], etc, you can put it.
All those large indications help others to understand better your contributions, and so, to give you suitable advices or questions.
I noted on OpenShot website that you are part of the supporters (I guess you are the same Helen McCall). The article is to talk about OpenShot, good and bad points ;), to stay 'encyclopaedic'. But since OpenShot is a freeware, there is few pressure. (articles of commercial entreprises are frequently edit into an unencyclopaedic 'advertising' style.)
For the sum : your expert edits on OpenShot article are welcome. The article is in my watchlist, I will follow its evolution and manage to keep it fine and encyclopaedic if need. Currently : it's fine ;) Yug (talk) 09:01, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello Helen,

to state that you are currently revamping an article, past in the article : {{Under Construction}}, that's better ;) Yug (talk) 11:08, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

OpenShot categories edit

Hello,

If you look closely, my edit to the OpenShot page was to remove Category:Video Editing Software which doesn't exist and was in the wrong place and wrongly named (every word should not start with a capital letter). The page was and is in the correct category, Category:Video editing software. You added Category:Film and video technology and Category:Multimedia software. The former looks like a category that shouldn't contain OpenShot directly, but have Video editing software as a subcategory. The latter already does that, so, in my opinion, it is unnecessary. Oh, I just noticed that Video editing software is indeed under Film and video technology. Wipe (talk) 14:36, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
