• I basically looked at other people's user pages and hit the edit button and copied their basic formatting. The navigation panel I found on someone's page, but I changed some of the images. Just hit edit on my user page and take some of the code. Just make sure that you change any user specific links. Userboxes can be found here. Hi there - your help in cleaning up and sourcing the Jazz-funk article is appreciated. Please can you insert a 'references' sub-section, then look at the UK section (much of which I have written) and convert the links so they anchor down the page to the references. WikiProject Musicians

Hey there, I have noticed your efforts to reorganize and revitalize WikiProject Musicians, and I commend your efforts. As you know, it didn't get very off the ground on the first attempt. I think it had something to do with the founder walking away from the project without fully fleshing it out, but mostly it seemed to be due to the fact that there was too much overlap with other projects. For example, WikiProject Composers. Most composers are musicians, and a lot of musicians are composers, and so on and so forth. :)

I ended up leaving the project and starting WikiProject Guitarists because I am really interested in working on guitar-related articles. More important, I like working on a well-defined and organized project, so I just started my own.

Anyway, I hope we can collaborate and define the places where our projects overlap. Feel free to check out WikiProject Guitarists and its organizational structure. --Aguerriero (talk) 23:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Heaven's Wrath, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). I have a friend on DeltaAnime who sometimes goes by the nickname HeavensWrath, and when I saw your name on the 1988 list (me too) I knew it couldn't be her, but just an odd coincidence... Birthday Committee Merge

I have read your request for a merge, and feel that it is a good idea. However, as I am no longer totally in charge of the committee (though maintain enough power that I'm very glad that you waited for my return before suggesting a merge), and I don't know how other members would react, I have set up a discussion page on the subject at: Wikipedia talk:Birthday Committee/Merge?. Esperanza members are invited to join the discussion, and the final decision belongs to Mr. Turcotte, and, (I'm assuming) the people in charge at Esperanza. September Esperanza Newsletter

Program Feature: Barnstar Brigade Here in Wikipedia there are hundreds of wikipedians whose work and efforts go unappreciated. One occasionally comes across editors who have thousands of good edits, but because they may not get around as much as others, their contributions and hard work often go unnoticed. As Esperanzians we can help to make people feel appreciated, be it by some kind words or the awarding of a Barnstar. This is where the Barnstar Brigade comes in. The object of this program is to seek out the people which deserve a Barnstar, and help them feel appreciated. With your help, we can recognize more dedicated editors! What's New? September elections are upon us! Anyone wishing to be a part of the Advisory Council may list themselves as a candidate from 18 September until 24 September, with the voting taking place from 25 September to 30 September. Those who wish to help with the election staff should also list themselves! Appreciation Week, a program currently in development, now has its own subpage! Share your good ideas on how to make it awesome there! The Esperanza front page has been redesigned! Many thanks to all who worked hard on it. The last AC meeting (full log) The proposals page has been updated, with some proposals being archived. Since the program in development Appretiaion week is getting lots of good ideas, it now has its own subpage. The September 2006 Council elections will open for nominations on 18 September 2006. The voting will run from 25 September 2006 until 30 September 2006. If you wish to be a candidate or a member of the elections staff, please list yourself! The new Esperanza front page design has but put up - many thanks to all who worked on it! TangoTango has written a script for a bot that will list new members of Esperanza, which will help those who welcome new Esperanzains greatly! Signed...
