Image Tagging Image:Fc bluewings.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Fc bluewings.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, ie in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}.) See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --cohesion | talk 02:32, 9 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Lee Sa-Vik

edit

Who is this Lee Sa-Vik person? It is claimed that he played for Croatia at the 1996 Olympics, but they did not participate. South Korea did, but I can't find his name on their roster. Also I find nothing whatsoever on Google for this player. What was his Croatian name before he got the Korean name Lee Sa-Vik? Please bring a few sources into the article to verify the information. Punkmorten 09:58, 8 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. The Korea Times article calls him Lee Sabic, perhaps that should be included in the article or perhaps even the new name for the article? No, perhaps it should be moved to Lee Sa-Bik?
By the way Denis Latinov seems to be the wrong name for that player, either he should be moved to Denis Laktionov or Lee Seong-Nam, his Korean name. Personally I would choose the Korean name I think. Punkmorten 05:32, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Pavel Badea

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Pavel Badea, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unsourced biography of a living person (note references only refer to the national team results); this breaches WP:BLP and hence is a reason for deletion on its own per WP:DP.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Heartnseoul! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 903 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Juan Manuel Olivera - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
