Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Safe sex do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Verbal chat 21:06, 8 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Syphilis. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:18, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of STDUniversity.org

edit

A tag has been placed on STDUniversity.org, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Article Tracey Powell has been moved

edit

At the moment, the article Tracey Powell is unlikely to survive. To be honest, I was erring on the side of speedy deletion, but there was enough in there to make me think that Powell could be a notable person (possibly).

So rather than delete the article, I have moved the article to User:HealthGal/Tracey Powell where you can work on the article to your heart's content. I would suggest that you have a read of the following guidelines which should help you improve the article. If you can address these, in particular the one about notability, then it should be fine.

WP:NOTABILITY; WP:BIO; WP:PEACOCK; WP:WEASEL; WP:CITE.

Let me know when you think it is ready, and I'll see about moving it into mainspace. Stephen! Coming... 23:19, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I hope you don't mind, but I've also put the link on your user page (User:HealthGal) to help you find it easier. If you have any questions, please drop me a note on my talk page. Stephen! Coming... 23:22, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
