About your article edit

I feel that your article on medieval stained glass could be better served being integrated in the stained glass article. The stained glass article could user the additional information that you have added onto the medieval period part of the article. If it is possible, you can discuss it more on the talk page of the article you created. CardinalDan (talk) 01:37, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Strongly Oppose edit

As the major contributor to the generic article on stained glass, I do not want to see the articles merged. The generic article is already too long for comfort. More individual articles neemd to be written, like this one. I am delighted to see this article written, and would likie to contribute. Amandajm (talk) 06:50, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hazel Lockwood- don't go along with this suggestion. Neither of these editors are serious contributors or diligent vandalism-watchers of the stained glass article. I would suggest that their comments are made in ignorance of the fact that Medieval stained glass is a vast area of artistic archievement. If either of them knew what a big subject it is, they could not have made the suggestion. One might as well merge the article on Italian Renaissance painting with the article painting or the article St Peters Basilica with the article Rome. Amandajm (talk) 07:09, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
If you haven't already done so, go to the top of the new Medieval stained glass page and use the watch option. This will allow you to track any recent changes or vandalism to the page you have created, and also to its Discussion page. You don't need mark the discussion page separately as watched; it will link along with the article. When you get online, go to "my watchlist" and you can track changes to any articles that you choose to watch. You might find it useful to watch Stained glass as well.
