Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Embedding the links as references, when they do not appropriately support the text they are cited for, is just as inappropriate as adding them to an external links section. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=your reason here HannahBxxx (talk) 06:02, 5 June 2014 (UTC)}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  —Darkwind (talk) 03:38, 14 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, I would be very grateful if you could unblock my IP. I did not want to spam. I edited wikipedia for a few months and there was no problem with me, but I made a misstake and Im very sorry for that. I just wanted to help with developing of wikipedia. Im looking for your response.HannahBxxx (talk) 7:02 am, Today (UTC+1)

Decline reason:

Every edit you have ever made to a Wikipedia article has been to add inappropriate links to companydirectorcheck.com. Claiming that you did not want to spam when that is literally all you have ever done here is a bit disingenuous. However, it does appear - looking over your edit history - that you stopped making these edits after you were warned by Hullaballoo Wolfowitz above. If you would be willing to state clearly that you will no longer add any links (as references or otherwise) pertaining to companydirectors.com or its subsidiaries, then I would be willing to consider unblocking your account. Please post a new {{unblock}} template below if you are willing to accept this restriction. Yunshui  07:39, 5 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Yes, I accept this restriction. This act will be highly appreciated and I would be very grateful for that. HannahBxxx (talk) 12:08 pm, Today (UTC+1)

Accept reason:

Unblock granted, on the proviso that we see no more links to those websites from you. There are some useful links in the Welcome message at the top of this page - have a read of the linked pages, and then feel free to edit. Yunshui  08:13, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, thanks a lot for your help. Please, can you unblock companieslist.co.uk and companydirectorcheck.com too? I will not spam anymore and I will not add any link to this sites, we do not want to be penalized of search engines because of my fault. I would be very grateful for this act. HannahBxxx (talk)(UTC)

This account is not currently blocked, so it can't be unblocked. Presumably, what you mean is that you want the links you refer to to be removed from the spam blacklist, so that your web sites' search engine rating will be able to benefit from being included in Wikipedia pages. If so, you seem to have failed to grasp the point that Wikipedia is not a service to help businesses with their search engine ratings. The interests of your business are not a concern for Wikipedia, and we will not take any action for the purpose of benefiting your business or any other business. Indeed, the whole reason for blacklisting is to prevent you from using Wikipedia to serve the interest of your company by boosting your search engine rating. Further to the above message, I see that blatant spam linking to both the URLs you refer to has been going on over a long period, using numerous IP addresses, and that at least one of the IP addresses was informed that doing so was unacceptable as long ago as June 2013. We can't assume, because one editor promises not to continue spamming, that the same won't continue. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:18, 6 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

No, I do not want to get backlinks back, I just want remove those sites from blacklist because of search engines penalty. I though it is possible, if I promisse, that I will not do this things anymore. I see your reasons, and you are right. It was my fault, it won't happen again.HannahBxxx (talk) 05:58, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Let me try again to try to make clear two points which I have already tried to explain, but which you seem not to have grasped.

  1. This account is not blocked, so there is no point whatever in posting unblock requests for it.
  2. The loss of search engine ranking is no doubt a concern for your business, but it is not a concern for Wikipedia. No Wikipedia administrator is likely to take action not because it improves Wikipedia but because it will benefit some business. (Indeed, any administrator who did so might well be blocked for abuse of administrative powers.) The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:24, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
