Articles for deletion nomination of The Prophet’s Scribe

edit

I have nominated The Prophet’s Scribe, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Prophet’s Scribe. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 09:55, 16 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with The Prophet’s Scribe. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 15:05, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fictional novels as sources

edit

Regarding to your contributions to Qur'an, History of the Qur'an, and Muhammad: I had to revert your changes because they made claims that cited the book The Prophet's Scribe, which is advertised as a work of fiction, and therefore cannot be considered a reliable source for historical articles. If the text you added was indeed factual, a better source needs to be found to support the claims. Thanks. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:31, 3 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to History of the Qur'an. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ~Amatulić (talk) 03:11, 4 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
