Welcome! edit

Hello, Ha-joon S, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Stabilis Capital Management, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! The Arthur Pecks edit

Hello,

You might try reading the articles involved before you move an article. Your recent move of Arthur Peck (aviator) mistakenly linked him to a different Art Peck. I will be getting an administrator to reverse your mistaken move.

While we Wikipedians believe in "Be bold", we also believe in accuracy.Georgejdorner (talk) 15:21, 25 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure I understand. I intentionally redirected Arthur Peck to Art Peck because that is the more notable person with that name. How was that mistaken? I didn't mean to be over-bold, but I don't see the problem here. Cheers, Ha-joon S (talk) 15:31, 25 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
The problem is that you are confusing the identity of a World War I flying ace with a modern business executive of the same name. If you had bothered to glance at and skim the articles involved, you should have noticed the distinction. If you are incapable of verifying the identities of the articles you are redirecting, please leave them alone. In the case I cited, you committed vandalism—accidentally and carelessly perhaps, but still vandalism.Georgejdorner (talk) 18:24, 25 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Andrés Gluski edit

The article Andrés Gluski has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No significant coverage found

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 5 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
