Narendra Modi

edit

I have reverted your addition to the page of Narendra Modi, there is a discussion goign on the talk page, can you please discuss it there? --sarvajna (talk) 13:59, 1 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Gzyo, please do not insert the OBC thing again, there is a consensus that living people need to identify themselves with their caste, till then we will not add it. There is a discussion on the talk page, please consider discussing on the talk page. If you just start reverting things it will be viewed as disruption.--sarvajna (talk) 07:47, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Please self revert, I don't want to start an edit war with you, I have told you twice. Also please consider this as a formal warning. --sarvajna (talk) 08:03, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
There is also a consensus not to add details about his wife.--sarvajna (talk) 08:07, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. --sarvajna (talk) 08:31, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you.--sarvajna (talk) 10:27, 2 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring, as you did at Narendra Modi. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The complete report of this case is at WP:AN3#User:Gzyo reported by User:Ratnakar.kulkarni (Result: 24h). This block can be lifted if you will agree to accept whatever consensus is reached on the talk page regarding the Other Backward Caste material in Modi's article. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 14:11, 3 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Julia Roberts, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Jschnur (talk) 22:01, 8 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
