Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, as you forgot on your recent edit to University of Toronto. Thank you. freshacconci talktalk 10:20, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to University of Toronto has been reverted, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Ensure that the added pictures have copyrighted tags. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 15:26, 16 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Editing of Vancouver

edit

Hi, I would encourage you to engage with other editors before making large numbers of changes to an established article such as this. A large number of edits with no edit summaries, adding and changing images without any dialogue is very likely to cause friction with regular contributors to the article. This holds true all over the project. Articles are built on consensus editing and stable articles have had images chosen to illustrate accompanying text. Unilaterally changing the look of a stable article will create friction. Mfield (Oi!) 06:51, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dear editor, it has been brought to my attention that other editors have questioned your authorization to use the photos you have uploaded and added to various important articles on Wikipedia. As Vancouver is a featured article, I would like to ask that you review WP:COPYRIGHT and obtain substantiating tags that show you have permission to use these photos. This is important as you are not the owner of the content being imported from flickr. Mkdwtalk 06:57, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Editing of Canadian articles

edit

Please carefully review WP:COPYRIGHT. We are extremely concerned over your continued edits and uploads of photos from various sources, including Flickr from a wide range of photographers. Until you have shown that you have been granted permission to use each of these photos, we must be included to remove them from all articles per copyright laws.   This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive comments.
The next time you make a personal attack as you did at User talk:Mkdw, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Mfield (Oi!) 01:13, 24 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to International Monetary Fund, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Discuss on the talk page

edit

If you still want the Avatar film categorized as Canadian in the infobox, discuss this on the talk page first. There is already a discussion there about categorizing this film as American-British. State your thoughts about the Canadian part there in that discussion. Flyer22 (talk) 14:27, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
