Australia/Continent

edit

This issue has been done to death by a few editors in a number of articles with odd axes to grind indeed - the various articles Australia (continent) and so on. SatuSuro 03:30, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

For some reason the ocean articles attract some weird stuff but over the last couiple of months - there has been considerable debate about what exactly the Australian plate, Australian continetn are- drawn out and almost as crazy as some other edit wards in other places = will try to find them in a few minutes - it would be a good idea to put something on your user page - one word is enough SatuSuro 03:49, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Bored with life - not enough excitment - the talk pages (and archives of the following articles) should keep you unenlightened for hours... :)

and the depressing thing there is probably more hidden in an even more obscure article.... SatuSuro 03:56, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

BTW there is an excellent New Zealand project - and I would presonally recommend a couple of NZ admins as persons to look up to for their hard work and good advice if you need it - let me know and I'll indicate them...SatuSuro 04:00, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Bottomline - wikipedia is an encyclopedia- and should try to be accurate as possible - along with everything else - some young spark uses a badly written cia factbook section that says the indian ocean is inside the indonesian archipelago... and wants to deffend that into an on going edit war - one problem is editors with limited imagination, and education - geographically challenged editors wreak havoc on some aritlces.... the distinctions between islands and contintental plates gets into geology - but international law does some strange things to it all... Wikipedia:WikiProject_New_Zealand is well worth checking out - a very good project - and some very good people there - but never hesitate to ask questions! It can be quite daunting when you are first on. Take it easy!SatuSuro 04:34, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Help

edit

You mentioned you worked in Te Papa. I am trying to make the Phar Lap article somewhat NPOV. I appear to have run across a few diehard Australian supporters who would darely like to see any NZ connection disappear in a puff of smoke. I see you mentioned something on the talk page. Can you give me some advice? Wallie (talk) 12:50, 21 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
