Welcome!

Hello, GuBu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Also, I noticed you created a page for Steve Wisdom. That page has already been created and speedily deleted tonight. I don't know if you created the second copy or not, but I'm listing the page for proposed deletion, which is a slower process. You are welcome to contest the proposed deletion of the page as instructed in the proposed deletion tag. Also (and this is more in line with strict process), you can contest the original speedy deletion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. The record may be helpful: [1]. Feel free to ask me if you need help with any of it. Cheers and happy editing! --Kchase02 (T) 10:01, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Steve Wisdom edit

You removed the redirect and restored the previous content. Can you source any of the claims in this article? A Google serach for "Steve Wisdom" Manchester Trading produces only 5 hits. "Steve Wisdom" wiz produces 46 hits. That doesn't seem to back up the a famous Hedge Fund Manager statememt. If this is kept, it needs to be sourced. If it cannot be verified, it should be removed. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 22:39, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Why sources should be cited edit

According to WP:CITE and WP:REF

  • To help users find additional reliable information on the topic.
  • To ensure that the content of articles is credible and can be checked by any reader or editor.
  • To improve the overall credibility and authoritative character of Wikipedia.
  • To show that your edit isn't original research.
  • To reduce the likelihood of editorial disputes, or to resolve any that arise.
  • To credit a source for providing useful information and to avoid claims of plagiarism.

AfD edit

Hi. In your recent AfD nominations, it seems you forgot to do the third step of incomplete. Would you like to complete these nominations?

  1. Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Andrew_Hageman
  2. Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Charles_B._Johnson
  3. Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Delfin_Fernandez

Please also remember to use {{subst:afd2|...}} in the afd subpage, as explained in the three-step guide. Thanks. (Liberatore, 2006). 12:33, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
