Speedy deletion nomination of Transverse myelitis network
editA tag has been placed on Transverse myelitis network requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. andy (talk) 14:05, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of The International Disability Coalition
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on The International Disability Coalition, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of The International Disability Coalition and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AndrewWTaylor (talk) 14:30, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

Disabled Army Veteran for The Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation
editI am a disabled U.S. Army Iraq combat veteran. On, October 31, 2010, I will be competing in the Marine Corps Marathon for The Christopher Reeve Spinal Cord Injury and Paralysis Foundation, using a hand-cycle. My efforts at this event supports Reeve’s vision of a paralysis-free world. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy. Your tax deductible donation to the Reeve Foundation will have a significant impact in someone’s life who has a spinal cord injury or neurological disorder. I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called, Transverse Myelitis, so I understand the battles these people face. Since I only have paralysis in my legs, I still have the ability to compete using a hand-cycle, and be an activist for those who do not have the capability. I am asking that you consider donating to The Reeve Foundation in support of my efforts at the Marine Corps Marathon. Your contribution will not go unnoticed. All personal and business donations will be recognized for their generosity. Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to your reply.
Please honor Christopher Reeve's legacy by making a tax-deductible donation today. Your contribution will:
* Help fund cutting-edge spinal cord injury research * Improve the lives of people living with disabilities * Help find a cure for those living with a spinal cord injury

About Reeve:
The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated by the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions made to it are fully tax-deductible.
The Reeve Foundation was started as a community response to a crisis that has quickly grown into a national movement. The early pioneers who started this Foundation began this work at a time when spinal cord research was considered the graveyard of neurobiology.
Christopher Reeve's injury changed the field forever and it was his vision, his passion, brilliance and creativity that made this one of the most promising fields in research. And while Dana was universally known as the model for care giving, her real legacy is the creation of our Paralysis Resource Center that has reached tens of thousands of those living with paralysis and their families with useful, often life-saving and life-changing information. What inspires us is following through on and achieving in our lifetimes what they so generously and courageously started.
