Croco-Duck

Wow, that was a lot of effort for a joke! There was a time when such an article would have been archived at Wikipedia:Silly Things, but that time has passed. Now I must delete it. Cheers, Melchoir (talk) 10:51, 28 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Duke Eadmond II

edit

The article Duke Eadmond II has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

hoax

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

Also Eadmond Estmondson and Estmond Estmondson are proposed for deletion for the same reason. The titles of Duke of Lancaster and Duke of York were first created in the 14th century and there is no evidence that the people mentioned in these articles existed.

Do not create, add, or restore hoaxes to Wikipedia. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can contribute constructively. Thank you.
