Hi Greenkeeper, welcome, and your photgraphy from the weekend sounds great (wish I could have got there - @#$%^& work). Some of your photos might also be good to illustrate other RNZAF pages, such as individual squadron ones, and teh Whenuapai page :-) Winstonwolfe (talk) 03:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello there and ta for your welcome. I took more than 500 photos, and have a couple of good ones out of that lot. I didn't know there was a Whenuapai page. I have got to remember to use the four tildes each time . Like this Greenkeeper (talk) 05:23, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey Greenkeeper, about time you came along. E-mail me if you get stuck. I think there are a few holes in Wikipedia just waiting to be filled by your images. Kaiwhakahaere (talk) 01:21, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Haaaa. Too busy diving. OK, I'll holler if it turns to custard. Forgot the tildey things again, Greenkeeper (talk) 02:43, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

edit

File:RNZAF.parachutist.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:RNZAF parachutist Whenuapai Air Show 2009.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:RNZAF parachutist Whenuapai Air Show 2009.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 09:29, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Photos moved to Commons

edit

Hi Greenkeeper, I've moved your five airshow photos to the sister project Wikimedia Commons, it's the central media repository. You can see them all here: Commons:Category:Whenuapai Air Show. Commons is a better place for photos with a free license, because they can be used across projects (your photos can now be used in the German Wikipedia for example), just as easy to upload them there if you have some more. That photo

edit

I know, I know. The photo I uploaded earlier today might be showing someone breaking the law, so it has to go. I have asked Xlerate for advice on how to remove it from Commons. Greenkeeper (talk) 02:56, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

To have a photo of yours deleted I'd tag it with {{Speedydelete}} and put upload error by author/creator. XLerate (talk) 03:21, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
