Do you use AOL? If so, you get a new IP every time you load a page, and since a lot of AOL users are young and vandalise, a lot of AOL IPs get blocked. Much of the time you can just reload the page, and you should be able to edit it. Next time you're hit by a block, if it doesn't go away with the next page load, put {{Unblock|reason}} on your talk page, and be sure to include the block message and the IP that was blocked.
