I am having a particularly awkward experience getting my account set up.

I posted on the Help desk page and that post is gone . .

I just posted this

And my last question is gone

I'm connecting from an Ip that is banned! Does that have anything to do with it? It is a school and I am not the vandal etc.

Once more - I can login but as I load another page I am logged out and so cannot create new pages etc.

I sure would appreciate some help

Hi

It is doing it again - I get logged out as soon as I load another page other than the sign in page. I am connecting from a school that uses a satellite connection - so many there many users but only one IP it seems. ````graymc

I'm not sure what the problem could be. Have you tried logging in from another computer outside of school?--Chaser - T 14:50, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Some satellite connections have problems with staying logged in on the default URL. Try using the secure server, https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/w/index.php?title=Special:Userlogin instead to log in and see if you stay logged in then. --ais523 14:59, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
