Headline text edit

Hello, Young Person, I like your user page, event though I don't how two things can be your "favorite subject"" (politics and biology). But maybe it's possible. I hope your future is so bright that by me having this contact with you, I will have to wear shades. I am writing to you that after stumbling upon your edit on Neudeck, I see you added a royalty stub. I want to let you know that Hindenburg, was not royalty, in the strict or even not strict sense or definition of the word. Hope you will change it by removing it, or if you feel I'm mistaken tell me why you think that I am. Thanks, and All the Best, Dr. Dan 03:01, 24 February 2006 (UTC) p.s. Politics and biology are two of my favorite subjects, too. Maybe all you need to do is add that they are two of your favorites.Reply

Neudeck edit

Neudeck, was the name of the country estate of Paul Hindenburg, a German military and political figure. Much the same as in the context of Mount Vernon, to George Washington. Dr. Dan 03:10, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey thanks, once again sorry, I'm new here GrapeSteinbeck 03:14, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Were you going to remove the royalty stub on the article or should I? Dr. Dan 02:43, 25 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference edit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:56, 14 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
