Misrepresentation

edit

Why have you repeatedly added Category:Wikipedia administrators to your user page? Do you not understand what an administrator is or are you simply conveying false information?--Bbb23 (talk) 00:16, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Grade X (User talk:Grade X) - I have reverted this misrepresentation again. See the WP:ADMIN policy to see what an administrator is. If you continue to misrepresent yourself as a SysOp, I will request the assistance of an ACTUAL administrator. —Josh3580talk/hist 01:55, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Josh, I don't see the revert you're referring to. Can you please provide a diff? Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:01, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Bbb23 (talk) - Actually, you are correct, sir. I must have looked at the timestamp wrong when I ran across the cautions on Nymf's talk page (the attempted reversion was identical to the current version). He has not added it since you Nymf reverted him a second time. I should have paid much closer attention; not only would I have not made this error, but I would have noticed that it was you that's already on top of it. Apologies to both you and Grade X. —Josh3580talk/hist 02:14, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Actually, to be precise, it was Nymf who reverted Grade X both times; I just noticed. Thanks for correcting yourself.--Bbb23 (talk) 02:20, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Dang, I must be off-kilter tonight. Corrected that as well. Thank you for keeping an eye out, apparently I need it sometimes! —Josh3580talk/hist 02:27, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Quite simply, I thought that someone who checks recent changes and supervises vandalism is an administrator. I now know it refers to the Wikipedia 'police'! No, I'm not one of those! :)))))) Glad we've drawn a line there. Grade X (talk) 16:45, 19 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I've never been called a cop before (we won't go into what I have been called). Sounds like you're glad you're not an administrator after all. If so, it shows very good sense. Thanks for responding.--Bbb23 (talk) 00:39, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
