Re:permission to use photo in film

edit

You are free to make use of the Image:SantaCruz-CuevaManos-P2210651b.jpg image without the need to ask permission as long as you stick to its licence. I released the picture under the GFDL, Creative Commons Share-Alike 2.5 and Creative Commons Share-Alike 2.5; see which one fits you better.

Basically, it means that you can make use of the image as long as you place a note on the authorship, and release your own work under one of these licences.

Hi, This image was seemingly uploaded prior to current image polices, Thank you.

However, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure all media on English Wikipedia is correctly licensed and attributed it would be appreciated if you were able to confirm, that it was your own work, by marking it as {{own}}, amending the {{information}} added by a third party, and by changing the license to an appropriate "self" variant. This will assist those reviewing the many many "free" images on commons that have not yet been transfered to Commons. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:12, 3 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
