File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Buono!.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Peripitus (Talk) 03:46, 22 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Copyvio uploads

edit

I have just deleted File:Maiha.jpg. Please do not upload images that you do not own the rights to- Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, a failure to do the same seriously undermines the goals of the projects. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 23:03, 24 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Miya.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Miya.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. July 2009

edit

Your recent addition to File:Miya.jpg will soon be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. The recent photo you uploaded is copyrighted by Up Front Agency because you edited and removed the bottom part with the copyright info and therefore is a NONFREE image. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Miya.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Miya.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Momo san Gespräch 17:56, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop uploading copyrighted images

edit

You have been caught multiple times uploading copyrighted images and declaring that you are the author of the work when you clearly are not (see File:Take_it_Easy.jpg for evidence). Only free images are allowed for BLP's on wikipedia per the Wikipedia:Non-free_content policy. If you violate this policy again and upload another copyrighted image, you will be blocked from editing. Please note that copyright violations are taken seriously and any infringing content WILL be removed. Thank you. Momo san Gespräch 02:12, 8 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
