License tagging for Image:Flame23.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Flame23.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:06, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Gooden, you will not violate consensus. I will not let you. I suggest you take a good long look at Wikipedia:Consensus otherwise I will take measures to prevent you from violating it. Consider this your first and final warning. --Deskana (talk) 02:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Excuse me? How dare you come into my domain insulting me! Who said anything about me voilating anything? I don't have time to talk to you folks, therefore i'm taking matters into my own hands elsewhere by reporting this. Get your mind straight before you start yapping to another person! Now i'd appreciate it if you back up, and come correct! Thank you! Gooden 03:30, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
You could be more polite, y'know.--SUIT양복 03:31, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
As i've mentioned before my friend, i demand respect from you! If you don't show it, you won't earn it. Fortunately for you, you've obeyed that basic principle! Thank you very much. Gooden 03:36, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Demanding respect won't make people respect you. You have to earn people's respect--SUIT양복 03:44, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
And how is this person giving me respect by enterting my talk page and insulting me by stating i'm voilating "Consensus" when clearly i'm not? You tell me!! Gooden 03:49, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
...yet another troll... ...*sigh*... -- bulletproof 3:16 04:45, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Prob'ly--SUIT양복 04:53, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

What? What did you call me? And who are you? Haaaa..... Gooden 04:51, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I called you a T to the R to the O to the L and another L-- bulletproof 3:16 04:56, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Some of those descriptions do fit me, but not all of them. As a result, i am not a Troll. Therefore, i'd appreciate it if you cease your "identity" calling of me. Thank You! Gooden 05:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Really? Not all of those descriptions fit. How so? Please, do tell. -- bulletproof 3:16 05:03, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

First, figure out which ones do since you obviously know if you're calling me a Troll! If you can eliminate the obvious ones, then you've therefore answered your own question! Gooden 05:06, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nope, sorry. Couldn't eliminate any. The results are in and you my friend are indeed a Troll. -- bulletproof 3:16 05:09, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Whatever! I don't have time for this, please remove yourself from my talk page. Do not reply here ever again! Thank you! Gooden 05:11, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Your talk page is not owned by you, and you cannot tell someone to never post on your talk page again. Although the copyright on individual edits is owned by the editor in question, pages are not owned by anyone. You also seem to be unaware that I am an administrator. Don't take that as a threat, veiled or otherwise, I just think you haven't realised. --Deskana (talk) 15:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes, however if i feel the person is a disruption to my environment (a.k.a my talk page) and he or she posts negative messages on here, then i have all the right to personally remove them! And if you are indeed an administrator, how come you haven't even attempted to help me out here. You see that i'm struggling against these people, and even though i'm far outnumbered, by determination is far stronger than all of them combined. What is your take on this matter? Gooden 16:02, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
That if you turn Vegetto into its own article you're violating consensus and we'll have to stop you doing it. You also kind of admitted this yourself by saying that you're "outnumbered", which essentially means consensus is against you. --Deskana (talk) 16:24, 18 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Template:Infobox School

edit

I see that you added a couple of parameters to this template: originator, status, and contact number. For originator and status please update the documentation at Template talk:Infobox School to describe their intended use. For contact number, note that there was already an "information" parameter which was defined to be the main telephone number for the school; is there really a need for another parameter? Thanks. Jordan Brown 20:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sure! I'll provide my reasons on the Infobox's talk page. No prob! Gooden 03:23, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Thecreepers.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jusjih (talk) 03:15, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Sfex2 22.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Sfex2 22.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:33, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Image deliver 2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Image deliver 2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 01:59, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Street Fighter EX2 Plus

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Street Fighter EX2 Plus, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Street Fighter EX2 Plus. - Master Bigode from SRK.o//(Talk) (Contribs) 20:56, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Sfex2 screen039.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Sfex2 screen039.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with no fair use rationale uploaded after May 4, 2006 which has been tagged as not having a rationale for more than 7 days.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:Sfex2 screen039.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  - Master Bigode from SRK.o//(Talk) (Contribs) 14:34, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
