FYI edit

Just so you know, placing block templates on user pages is not going to block them. You'll have to ask an administrator instead. --Pilot|guy 00:59, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you care. edit

I nominated the possible hoax article for deletion from the user you appear to be fighting the vandal-like activities of. Haven't really warned them much, and this is slight more complex than petty vandalism. If they do anything else, however, I'll try to report them on it. Kevin_b_er 01:49, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have nominated List of shopping malls in North Carolina for deletion edit

It seems appropriate that I let you know about Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of shopping malls in North Carolina since you are a major contributor to that list. I saw some signs that there might have been a previous AfD but could not find it. If you know of it, please feel free to so comment and I'll revise my nomination to reflect that info. Thanks. ++Lar: t/c 15:40, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Images edit

You have uploaded a number of images that you did not create and claimed incorrectly that they were released under a Creative Commons license. Please stop; if you continue you will be blocked from editing. --SPUI (T - C) 20:32, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your creation of the article, Charlotte Route 4, but we cannot accept copyrighted text borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Please see Wikipedia:Copyright problems for more information on this topic, or generally, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines. Please do not remove the copyright violation notice placed in the article or repost the suspected infringing text. However, if you would like to rewrite the article in your own words, follow the link in the posted notice to create a temporary subpage. If your new article is appropriate, and not a further copyright violation, the reviewing administrator will move that new article into place once the copyright status of the original has been resolved. Happy editing! (yeah, that's a form letter.) SPUI (T - C) 22:26, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

  1. Images typically don't go in categories; if you want to keep track of them you can do so on a page in the WikiProject.
  2. Unless it is specifically stated that an image can be used in a certain way, it cannot be used, with few exceptions.

I responded on the talk pages of the other two things.

No, I don't use a bot - just browser tabs and copy/paste. --SPUI (T - C) 23:35, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

For the record, I didn't choose NC 24 because you had just edited it; it was simply the first long highway that came to mind. --SPUI (T - C) 23:49, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

SPUI's right regarding images and categories; categories tend only to be for pages in the main article name space. One thing you can do, though, is upload the images to Wikimedia Commons instead, and use a category there. -- NORTH talk 23:55, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

===G'boro Urban Loop and I-840=== edit

Hey, SPUI has put merge banners on the two articles. I put the basis for the original split on the Urban Loop page. Commentary would be appreciated. --MPD01605 (T / C) 00:22, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

You're quite welcome (for my help with the Commons). -- NORTH talk 03:18, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wilkes Mall edit

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Wilkes Mall, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, it is best not to propose deletion of articles that have previously been de-{{prod}}ed, even by the article creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still feel the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 23:08, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Never mind. It was pointed out to me that you were the one who de-prod'd and then re-prod'd it. It's a bit of an unusual case, but I went ahead and deleted it. -- JLaTondre 23:14, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

NC 49 edit

Please do not perform a copy-paste move; there is a move tab on top of the page. --SPUI (T - C) 04:51, 19 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding List of cities in the United States edit

I saw your comments on the article's talk page and in agreement that the list should be more restrictive, I posted my suggestions. What do you think? Feel free to ahoot me a message. Thanks! --Moreau36 22:17, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome! edit

Thanks for the three cheers. On a slightly related topic, please see my recent comment on WT:NCSH. -- NORTH talk 05:18, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Image:Bus plate.svg listed for deletion edit

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Bus plate.svg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. I said you could delete it. I don't care for it anymore. --TinMan 20:59, 7 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
