If you enjoy eating French cheeses, and are handy with a digital camera, think of snapping a photo before completely devouring them. I recommend photographing round-shaped cheeses cut out with a small slice so the interior can be seen. Lisa Kudrow advice

I just noticed that you deleted my Lisa Kudrow controversy edit because it was non referenced and POV. I tried to get a reference to her actual words but was unable to. And as for the POV aspect of my edit, I did reference national health care to a wikipedia article. The French health care system is considered to be excellent per various ratings but I did not reference that either---here are some belated refs [[1]] [[2]] [[3]]. So I agree for the reasons of your deletion, but I still feel strongly that her comment was controversial and made no sense. I am an user of the French health system, and I know from experience and knowledge that a patient has access to medical doctors at all times, French doctors do not disappear during the summer. When I searched the Web, I came across Americans stating that they now know that all socialized medicine is useless because Lisa Kudrow said so. So her comment was controversial, misleading, and wrong. I will write a Wikipedia article on the French Health Care system, so next time I need to reference it, I can. --Gondola 11:51, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps the deletion of the last sentence would make it less POV, even through it is true!:

On the Tonight Show, aired on August 1, 2006, she mentioned to Jay Leno that she was unable to receive proper medical attention while vacationing in France and had to resort calling her own doctor in California. The French publicly-funded health care system provides for medical doctor visits at home for a nominal fee and provides for medical personnel to be available every day of the year. In addition there is private medical treatment available. Her comment therefore has caused puzzlement among the users of the French health care system.

Your edit was dated Sept 21 per that article page's history. No need for me to take your edit personally, as you gave good reasons and I could contact you directly.

Even with improving the POV language, Kudrow's words still need to be referenced, and I tried very hard without success to get a transcript or a video of her words. Wikipedia takes possible slandering of celebrities very seriously as they need to.

But the positive aspect of your edit is I am now motivated to write an article on the French national health care system, so I thank you for that! --Gondola 14:27, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Cheeses

Recently there was a tag for deletion of this project which did not pass and there was also a recent merge proposal as well to bring it back into WikiProject Food and Drink. In a hopes to revive this project I have done an excessive revamp of the main page as well as added many subsidiaries to it for organization. I have also created a member template which you can find a link to on the projects main page as well. The one thing I will be doing is including the members of this project along with the parent project WikiProject Food and Drink for the monthly newsletter currently sent to the parent project. To answer your message on my page, there is a guide for assessment underneath the assessment graph on the project's main page. I do still think the Bleu de Bresse is a "stub" as it doesn't give a whole lot of information, but take a look at the guidelines and it will tell you more. I also edited the template on your main page to properly reflect the member banner link and I also took the inactive thing off your page as there are now (a few) active members.
