Welcome to Wikipedia! edit

Dear Lizgold: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!

Thanks also for your good edits and contributions to the Karl Blossfeldt article. If you have an interest in working on other photography articles, please check out the Wikipedia:WikiProject History of photography page where we have outlined a strategy towards improving photography articles. Hi, are you good with pictures? edit

Hi, I'm trying to add a picture to the Lyme disease article to illustrate that sometimes the rash looks like a bulleyes and sometimes it doesn't. Are you good with this kind of thing? Thanks. Cool Nerd (talk) 18:47, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Cool Nerd: Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I'd be glad to help, but it looks like maybe you have already done it(?). NMLiz (talk) 22:39, 23 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
No, not yet. We need a picture, of which we might have links to several candidates on the Talk page, of a non-bulleye's rash.
Please check out a sample photo on the talk page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Lyme_disease#seeking_non-bulleye.27s_eye_sample_pictures I want to be pretty sure about fair use and do it right and do it in a respectful way. And I need to learn the technical details of actually posting a photograph.

@Cool Nerd:Dealing with pictures is pretty easy if you can find one the owner is willing to upload to Wikimedia. I have some Lyme connections; let me see what I can do.--NMLiz (talk) 06:34, 3 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
