License tagging for Image:CrazyGuyKillingKeyboard.png

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:CrazyGuyKillingKeyboard.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 13:06, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Features removed from Windows Vista

Your edits to the features removed from Windows Vista, in multiple articles, have been removed. These articles mention the changes in Windows Vista against Vista's immediate predecessor, XP. Please discuss the change if you feel the edits should be mentioned. --soum (0_o) 13:47, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image upload

edit

Wikipedia isn't Photobucket, you can not use this to host images you found anywhere on the net. Your uploads like Image:WinXP info.png and Image:Stop X xp.png don't conform to Wikipedia policies. Also, they are only being used for vandalizing blocks and warning messages. They will be reverted and the images couldn't be deleted. Please stop doing such vandalising changes. If you want the block/warn procedure be changed, please bring it up and discuss before making the changes. --soum (0_o) 13:57, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Consider this your last warning. --soum (0_o) 14:00, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Adding Windows style images

edit

Hello there, I've noticed that you've tried to upload and use Windows XP style buttons, instead of the currently used Nuvola apps ones. I'm sorry to inform you that regardless of which one looks better, the Nuvola apps ones are preferable. That is because they both share the same purpose, and that the Nuvola apps style icons are free, and the Windows XP style ones are copyrighted. Cristan 13:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
